I love all things natural dyed, compost dyed, rust dyed, solar dyed! I've been dyeing fabrics, fibers, and more with natural dyes since 1995! I've been compost dyeing, and rust dyeing fabrics since 1999. Since I use my natural dyed fabrics in my own artwork I have high expectations of my dye colors and their quality - fade and wash resistance.
I use only the highest quality vegetable dyes, and sometimes cochineal, to dye my fabrics, fibers, ribbons, and yarns. These dyes are known for their longevity and when used properly, with mordants, have excellent light and washfastness.
I use food grade Alum, Copper, and or Iron mordants when Mordanting for natural dyeing.
Orders take 3-5 days to ship from the time I recieve your order, I typically go to the Post Office on Monday, Wednesday and Friday - otherwise I'd never get any fabric dyed.
